I couldn’t be happier with my R&R Livestock portable corrals. They’re built just right—heavy-duty and durable without being overbuilt. They’re easy to set up and take down, which makes a big difference when you’re moving from place to place.
I really like the Bud Box setup. It makes it easy to get cattle flowing smoothly into the alleyway without fighting them. Having the scale built into the system is also really handy, and the hydraulic squeeze works great.
Overall, it’s a well-thought-out, durable setup that makes working cattle easier and more efficient. I couldn’t be happier with it, and it was definitely worth the investment.
I purchased our RR Bull XL hydraulic chute at the end of 2025. I got the portable kit with a hydraulic lift. Used it immediately to semen test bulls and artificially breed cows.
After using it this year working calves and preg checking, I am even more impressed. I am extremely pleased with the quality and stoutness of it. Also, moving the chute is very simple with the hydraulic lift.

I've got a portable hydraulic Ranger XL and never had a problem out of it... I've ran every size you can imagine through it..
Built like a tank. Once I get the tub gate to the first click they aren't going anywhere. I would definitely recommend it.
I wish the tub set up was a little easier and I wish there was a manual release to open things up in case you run out of fuel or have an issue with the power unit. All in all a great unit especially when you consider the price
Yes Sir, We have a portable hydraulic chute/alley/tub setup and we are pretty pleased with it. I would prefer to have the neck extender, instead of their neck cradle and bar setup, but we make it work.
I have a Silencer and a Ranger xl. For bang for buck the Ranger is my favorite. I've used it to ai, semen test big herd bulls, weigh calves, clean up bulls.
Easier to move the Ranger. Longevity wise it's too early to tell which one will out live the other.
Silencers are heavy and tuff for sure.
